Moritz Essling is a law student at the University of Zurich and a member of the legal team at Lindholm & Rosenkranz. He supports the firm's partners and associates in litigation and advisory matters and assists with legal research, drafting and case management.

Before commencing his legal studies in 2023, Moritz completed his mandatory military service with the Swiss Armed Forces, worked as a Labour Inspector at the Office of Economy and Labour of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and undertook an internship with the Swiss newspaper Aargauer Zeitung. These experiences provided him with valuable insights into public administration, regulatory matters and professional communication.

Driven by a strong interest in legal practice, Moritz began working as a law clerk at a Zurich law firm in 2024. This early exposure to the legal profession enabled him to gain practical experience in client work and law office operations alongside his academic studies.

Moritz is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Law at the University of Zurich and intends to complete the practical training required for admission to the Swiss Bar following graduation. He speaks German and English fluently and has a strong command of French.
